  Most scientists agree that there is a really small chance that mobile phones cause brain cancer, whether it is turned on or not. Mobile phones are more dangerous if they are distracting you, like if you are texting when you are driving.

  I agree with what Jess said. A switched off mobile phone is just a lump of plastic and so definitely can’t be harmful.. they’ve done lots of studies on the effects of ‘turned-on’ mobile phones without any compelling evidence that they’re harmful…
