• Question: is it true that there is a metal that melts in you hands

      some do – mercury is a metal and is liquid at room temperature but i guess that doesn’t count as melting in your hands (and it’s not very good for you)…

      Then there’s gallium – this melts at 29 degrees and so if you hold it long enough it would melt (your body temperature is 37 degrees)…

      gallium is cool. It form an alloy with aluminium that completely weakens it. Here’s a video of someone pulling apart a coke can that’s had gallium infused into it.

      And just for good measure here is mercury distroying aluminium too.
