      It’s a sharp knock on the head that moves your brain out of position – that disrupts the normal electrical signals in your brain and can cause unconsciousness or confusion…

      It’s quite common to get it from playing football or rugby because you get quite hard tackles! basically, to avoid it, either stop falling over or getting hit on the head and/or wear an appropriate helmet (like you do for horse riding or in boxing)…

      I suppose that repeatedly knocking you head might mean your brain is not recovered enough between knocks making the next bang more likely to give you concussion again…
