      Hangovers are normally caused by dehydration (alcohol dehydrates you despite being wet!)… so when you have a hangover salt, sugar and water will all help to reduce the symptoms. So if bacon helps a hangover, it will be the salt that’s doing it!

      However, if you have the sort of hangover where you feel sick, I don’t think bacon would help at all!
