• Question: do we age in space?

      Yes! But Einstein’s theory of relativity says that if you are moving fast you age more slowly than people who moving less fast…

      So if i left earth in a big rocket and travelled very very fast (say 600 million miles per hour or 0.87 times the speed of light). if i went on a journey at taht speed for ten years, when i came back to earth i’d find that for everyone else twenty years had gone by!

      that may seem nuts but scientists have actually proved the effect by sticking very very accurate clocks on planes and and on the ground and then comparing the flying clocks to the still clocks…
