Question: do you like using maths ?

Yes i do!

The sort of maths you learn at school is a bit like learning grammar in a foreign language – it’s necessary but can be boring and is nothing like speaking in another language.

At uni you perfect the grammar and also learn a lot of vocab… and then, after that, you start being able to speak the language! and that’s when it get really interesting and because a tool for what you want to do… so that i use the language of maths to solve the problems that come up… maths is brilliant for getting to core of a problem and then using logic to try and work out what happens in different situations…
