  No I haven’t been into space but yes I would *love* to go!! I actually went into space physics originally after my degree because I wanted to be an astronaut… I was first going to apply about 14 years ago but the space shuttle Columbia blew up and put space exploration on hold for everyone! Then, they advertised for European astronauts about 5 years ago and I applied, but it turns out I have asthma and that disqualified me… 🙁
  My husband also applied to be an astronaut though and he got down to the last 100 people from over 10,000 applicants so that was pretty cool 🙂
  
  If I ever make loads of money (ha ha) I’d definitely pay to go into space!
  
  It’s probably just as well I’m not an astronaut though cos I’m really clumsy and would probably press the “Eject” button by mistake and go hurtling off through space on my own 🙂
