      Hi!

I’m no biology expert, but human bodies are really clever and the tissues seem to know how to re-grow. The rate of healing can be affected by the conditions around the muscle (such as temperature) and also the person’s diet – a high protein diet is recommended to increase the healing rate. If the muscle damage is a small tear, then the muscle can grow back stronger than before. If the muscle is severely damaged then it might never be as strong after the recovery.

      Cheers,

      Colin.
