• Question: Is it possible to do a brain transplant? Can you reconnect the brain stem after the brain has been taken out? Would it require lots of surgery? :D

      No we can’t do brain transplants – it’s just too complex to join everything together correctly! Maybe one day it might be technically possible – but then there’d be another problem – who would the new body/head belong to? if all your memory and personality are stored in your brain are you actually doing a fully body transplant onto the brain?

      You can do open brain surgery but you can’t actually disconeect the brain from the body…
