Question: What do you think we will be able to do in 50 years time from the point of view of inventions?

hmm – that’s tricky – people have generally been really bad at predicting future gadgets! e.g. the head of IBM famously estimated the world would only ever need 8 computers!
but, maybe we’ll be able to grow replacement organs for people by then.
but star trek hasn’t doesn’t badly in predicting the future so i’m going to pick some stuff from that that I reckon might happen in the next 50 years… so those medical devices that heal skin & knit bones without touching you might happen…
would be nice if we had limitless renewable energy but we’ve been predicting that it’s just around the corner for about 70 years and it still isn’t!!

I don;t know – but i think we’re close enough to know that eventually it will be possible… 20 years maybe? hopefully soon enough so that i can get them when i get old!
