Question: What inspired you to look at parts of th eye?

Well after years of being locked in a dark cupboard with long lists of equations I wanted a fresh challenge. I had already veered slightly into the biological world during my Master’s in medical physics, and was keen to do that more. The eye is one of the few places where biology and physics meet, so I looked into it and it turned out there were a few unanswered questions. I liked the idea of trying to answer them myself.
