• Question: Why do I feel dizzy when I spin?

      you get a lot of your sense of balance by tiny hairs that sit in fluid in your ears… when you spin, the fluid in your ears move too and your brain realises that you’re spinning and makes adjustments… but then when you stop moving the fluid still sloshes around a bit and so your brain still thinks you’re spinning… even though your not – and this makes you feel dizzy! once the fluid has stopped moving, your brain realises you’re *not* spinning and you stop feeling dizzy!
