• Question: why dose tea burn your inside

      The normal temperature of a cup of tea that has just been made is around 70°C. Even though it’s not boiling water, that’s still really hot! Especially with small children (as they have thinner skin), if tea is poured on your skin it causes burns because it damages your cells. This is the same on the inside! Cells are delicate things and they’re designed for working at nicer temperatures 🙂
